Lesson 2
PREPARE&
CREATE
(Day2-3)
Create the melody (the basic line of music).
*You can use the existing song for your music if your team does not have a good idea of melody.
Put your lyrics in the melody line.
Practise the song several times till your team can confidently sing.
Using the internal video recorder on your phone, record your music performance.
Save your performance clip on your phone.
*If your team does not have a phone with a video recorder, you can use Sensei’s digital camera.
Lesson 3
(Day4)
ARRANGE
Open your saved movie using Windows Movie Maker on a school laptop.
Use the text tool to insert captions (lyrics & images) to your clip.
Lesson 4
(Day5-6)
EDIT
Arrange your clip on the storyboard in Movie Maker.
Add titles, transitions, and effects, as you wish.
Lesson 5
(Day7)
TOUCH-UP
& SUBMIT
Fine-tune your project using the time-line (instead of the storyboard) by editing the different clips.
Publish your final production
Submit it (save in your student folder/memory stick) for assessment.

Lesson 1
PLAN
(Day1)
Draw pictures of human hiragana onto the attached chart (p.5&6) to show how your group is going to form each character.
Include all of the 46 hiragana characters in the right order (あ➡ん).
Try shaping several characters to see if your plan really works.
Lesson 2
PREPARE
(Day2-4)
Using the internal camera on your phone, take a picture of your body hiragana.
Save your pictures on your phone.
*If your team does not have a phone with a camera, you can use Sensei’s digital camera.
Lesson 3
CREATE
(Day5-6)
Import your saved pictures to a school laptop and save them in your student folder/USB stick.
Open Microsoft Publisher on your computer and create a new A4 blank (Landscape) template.
Insert a table with 12 columns x 6 rows as below.
Type the 5 vowel sounds in the right column, and then 10 consonant sounds in the top row.

Lesson 4
ARRANGE

Open your saved project using Microsoft Publisher.
Insert the heading of your hiragana chart.
Insert all group members’ names.
Save your project in your student folder or memory stick.
Lesson 5
SUBMIT
(Day7)
Print out your project in A3 Colour (Landscape).
Laminate it using a laminator.
Submit the laminated hiragana chart for assessment.
